After a lovely service attended with my co-worker and good friend Jermaine, I was really feeling inspired. So Elva and I laid on my floor-bed, watched The Lorax, and I just started experimenting on my nails. I was kind of discouraged last night with how difficult I found it to do the whole fancy lines and dots thing that Salons do, so I decided to practice on myself.
I re-vamped the two ring fingers that I had worked on last night and realized how much more I could've done with them. It wasn't hard at all. It was a bit difficult to keep a steady hand while painting my right hand, but that's my only complaint. I'm happy with the results and so excited to try something like this on my next victim. Lol.
Oh, and The Lorax btw was absolutely awesome. My friend Yasmeen from Castle-Fashion.blogspot.com would absolutely love it. [Aside from maybe the cheesy musical aspect of it] I however am a huge cornball and was enthralled by even the musical numbers. The animation was awesome. And what a coincidence when I went onto Instagram post-movie and saw somebody do these nails. [I am itching to get the colors to try them out!]
The Lorax was absolutely my favorite Dr. Suess book when I was little. There was a point in my life where I could recite it. I used to read it all the time up to about the 5th grade and I'm surprised I didn't get more into the saving the planet business as a result. It's never too late to start I guess. I'm gonna go recycle something now. I'm feeling I have a responsibility to do so.
Leave your love for me and thanks for reading. :]
Lots of Love
